of Zion Ministries
.The Light of Zion Ministry was orginally birthed in August 1999, as the Women of Zion Ministry.  After attending one of Dr. Jennifer Johnson's "A Call To Excellence Ministry" meetings in North Little Rock, AR, with Sis. Stephanie Foreman, Sis. Ruby Crockett was so inspired that she wanted the women in Lee County and the surrounding area to experience the power of God in that kind of anointed setting.

The first Women of Zion Fall Conference took place a couple of months later - October 1999.  While preparing for the conference, God showed Sis. Foreman a vision where the remnant people of God would be knitted together like a patchwork quilt, that is, people form one county to the next county would connect in the Women of Zion Ministry and be knitted together in prayer, covering the entire delta area, and spread even outside of the delta.

The women's conference continued for two more years, before a two-year period came where there was no conference.  However, although the prayer ministry at Antioch continued to grow in power, Sis. Crockett went home to be with the Lord.  Also, Sis. Foreman continued being active in the Church prayer ministry and also began ministering at the Crestpark Nursing Home on a monthly basis - begining 2003, under the covering of Women of Zion Ministry.

In 2004, the women's conference resumed.  The Lord blessed again in a mighty way.  In March of 2005, the monthly ministry meetings at Antioch Church resumed.  Sis. Foreman was shown a vision in the summer of 2005: God showed her a huge light (the Glory of God) reflected over the horizon of a hill.  As she stood at the top of  the hill beckoning for the people to come to the light, it seemed that people extended for miles and briskly walked up the road, coming out of the darkness into the light.

After this vision, she was led to broaden the scope from the Women of Zion Ministry to the Light of Zion Ministries, with the Women of Zion being a branch of the more inclusive ministry.
